FEES AND PAYMENT METHODS
Our puppy fees vary depending on the litter, but average $1800. You will find the puppy application form under the tab Apply for a Puppy.
The deposit to reserve a puppy is $250 (effective 4/1/23) and is due at the time your application is submitted. Your deposit will be applied to the total fee. The balance is due when you pick up your puppy at eight weeks of age. Please note that deposits are not refundable. For your deposit, please mail a check or money order payable to Bittersweet Farm. Please understand that we cannot accept a check made out to Bittersweet Doodles, as our bank will not accept it. You may pay in cash if you intend to stop by for a visit. We no longer accept Venmo or PayPal as a form of payment.
Deposit payments ($250) should be mailed to Bittersweet Farm, 364 Lear Hill Rd, Newport, NH 03773 Your deposit amount is applied to the total fee due. The remaining balance is due when you pick up your puppy.
What if I can't pick up my puppy on the exact day he is ready to go home?
Puppies are expected to go home when they turn eight weeks of age. If you have a trip or vacation planned, we suggest you have a family member care for your puppy or wait to choose a puppy from a future litter . It is not a good idea to board your puppy at such a young age (at least until he has received all his vaccinations). If you absolutely have no one to watch your puppy, we can hold your puppy for you at a fee of $150.00 per week for a maximum of two weeks. Keep in mind that puppies are much better at home with their families if at all possible.
Final payment
Cash payments only accepted for the final payment. Checks are not accepted for final payment.
