Our story
Two decades, one family, one big farm
We’re husband and wife team Sonny and Pat Heino. For 20 years we’ve raised Goldendoodles and Golden Retrievers, and we love every one of them.
Our goal is simple: happy, healthy, well-socialized puppies that become family pets, companions and service dogs.
The farm
Bittersweet Farm is 100 acres in the rolling hills of central-western New Hampshire. Irish Dexter cattle and Haflinger horses share the land with our dogs, so puppies grow up around people, animals and open space.
Raised in our home
Our dogs live in the house with us, not in kennels. Puppies are handled every day from birth, which gives them the temperament that makes them wonderful pets, therapy dogs and service dogs.
